The UREF Compensater will be sent to guard a mutual mining experiment in the Crowley asteroid belt. Generally, resources claimbed by one faction or another are expected to defend their claim. This rich belt of ore, however has been declared open“ to all mining ships. You are here as a peacekeeper. You are to resolve ownership disputes as a last resort. In addition to the mining freighters, there are several warships in the system intent on keeping their own version of the peace.”

After receiving a mysterious message, handed over by the scientist to the other members of the crew who were less antipathic towards puzzles, the solution was discovered within a short period of time. Pilot Jimmy took a fighter out to investigate all the surrounding ships to determine the message origin. When on top of the feverishly-hyperdrive-programing enemy ship, the enemy ship opened fire, knowing in the rebellious hearts that it had all gone farbot. The UREF Compensator, despite repeated damage to the leviathan class ship necessitation many hull checks failed to prevent its escape. However, most of the crew was killed in the process, including everyone in the engine modules which received the majority of the Compensator's bombardments.
