A few days before the Time War began, the first Type 90 TARDISes were deployed. Their default appearance is a massive brass colored sphere. These are the first military TARDISes ever built. When materialized on planets, they often assume the appearance of cathedrals. They have no precision weapons of any sort. Though they are also capable of causing severe damage to the continuum, the Type 90 is primarily used to blockade the arrival or departure of enemy timeships. They appear to be equipped with Klypstromic Warheads which, when detonated, irradiate the local area of the Space-Time Vortex - making travel difficult, if not impossible, by blocking any TARDIS's entry into the Vortex for a span of 5 million years. They also possess powerful tractors that can pull a TARDIS out of the Vortex if it tries to dematerialize.
